Professional Equipment

We use the Nikon 5000 scanner for APS film, which provides the same quality scan as the Nikon 9000 scanner. The only difference is that the Nikon 9000 can scan larger format film. Click here to see an example of scanned images. Examples

APS Exposure Restrictions

APS Film conversion service is limited to 25 and 15 exposure lengths only. We are not able to accept 40 exposure rolls at this time.

APS Frame Restrictions

We are not able to skip frames in an APS canister; we must scan all the frames. We bill based off frames, not by the canister. So if you have a 15 exposure canister, you will be billed for 15 scans.

Damaged APS Canisters

Broken or damaged canisters may not be able to be scanned, especially if the dial on the bottom of the cartridge is damaged/broken.

Un-developed APS Film

We can not work with un-developed film. If your APS film has not yet been developed you will need to take it to a photo center to have it developed first, and then we can convert the film to digital images.

Black and White Film

Digital Ice Infrared Clean does not work on Black and White Film. We can still scan Black and White film, but dust, scratches and fingerprints may show up in the scan.
